Travel CT Tech in San Antonio, TX

A Travel CT Technologist will perform CT imaging in a hospital radiology unit on a 13-week contract in San Antonio, Texas. Siemens and GE scanners are used, and Meditech supports charting. Typical exams include brain, abdomen and pelvis, chest, PE, and extremity imaging.

• Perform CT scans for brain, abdomen and pelvis, chest, PE, and extremity exams
• Prepare patients and explain imaging steps before each study
• Position patients and select the correct protocol for ordered imaging
• Operate CT scanners and monitor image quality throughout the exam
• Assist with contrast-enhanced studies and other routine CT procedures
• Document completed exams and communicate with the radiology team

• ARRT certification in CT
• BLS certification
• Knowledge of CT anatomy, patient positioning, and image acquisition

• Cardiac CT experience
