Travel CT Tech in San Antonio, TX

A Travel CT Technologist with ARRT (R)(CT) certification will perform CT imaging in a hospital unit on a 13-week contract in San Antonio, Texas. The unit supports about 80 to 100 patients in 24 hours with a 12-person CT team and uses Meditech charting. The role works with Toshiba, Siemens and GE scanners in a busy hospital setting.

• Perform CT imaging studies of the head, spine and chest
• Assist with angiographic and CTA examinations of the head and neck and chest
• Prepare patients, verify orders and explain procedures
• Position patients and adjust imaging technique for diagnostic quality
• Monitor image quality and repeat scans when needed
• Maintain safe workflow and coordinate with the care team

• ARRT (R)(CT) credential
• BLS certification

• Hospital experience over 1 year
• Cardiac experience
