Travel CT Tech in Petaluma, CA

A Travel CT Tech Registered Radiologic Technologist will support CT and X-ray imaging in an acute care hospital on a 26-week contract in Petaluma, California. The full-service imaging unit is moderately busy with mostly outpatient and emergency traffic, plus some OR cases such as pacemakers and orthopedic studies. It serves adult acute care and adult outpatient patients and includes fluoroscopy work.

• Perform CT and X-ray imaging studies
• Assist with fluoroscopy and C-Arm procedures
• Prepare patients for contrast administration and exam setup
• Complete portables and extremity imaging
• Support abdomen, chest, head, pelvis, thoracic, lumbar, cervical, and vascular CTA studies
• Work with PACS and department protocols

• ARRT-CT certification
• Current BLS certification
• Current fluoroscopy permit
• 2 years of CT experience
• Adult acute care and adult outpatient experience
• PACS experience
• Community hospital experience

• Biopsies, drainage, myelography, brain perfusion, and colonography experience
• Philips equipment experience
• Peripheral IV start skills
• Thoracentesis and paracentesis experience
