Travel CT Tech in Eureka, CA

A Travel CT Tech Computed Tomography Technologist will perform CT imaging in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Eureka, California. The unit manages about 20 patients daily in three rooms, serves neonates through geriatrics, uses Epic, and has a Trauma 3 designation.

• Perform CT exams across trauma, emergency and outpatient settings
• Prepare and administer contrast and start peripheral IV access
• Follow radiation safety and isolation precautions during imaging
• Reconstruct images and maintain PACS workflow
• Coordinate with radiology, transport and rapid response teams
• Assist with a broad range of contrast and vascular studies

• ARRT CT and ARRT R certifications
• BLS certification
• 2 years of CT experience in adult acute care, adult outpatient and emergency department settings
• Experience with contrast administration, radiation safety, isolation precautions, PACS, multiplanar reconstruction and peripheral IV starts

• Fluoro Permit and ARRT advanced certification
• ICU, pediatric acute care, transplant studies, myelography or drainage experience
• Level I or Level II trauma experience
• Epic charting experience and teaching or community hospital background
