Travel CT Tech in Apple Valley, CA

A Travel Computed Tomography Technologist will provide CT imaging in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Apple Valley, California. The department is very busy, sees mostly ED patients, uses Epic, and serves as a primary stroke receiving center. First-time travelers are accepted.

• Perform CT scans for adult, pediatric, adolescent and geriatric patients
• Prepare patients and manage contrast administration under protocol
• Apply radiation safety and isolation precautions
• Assist with transport when needed
• Support emergency and outpatient CT work in a fast-paced unit
• Document studies and follow imaging protocols in Epic

• Current California CRT and CT certification
• ARRT CT or ARRT R with BLS
• 2 years of CT experience in a community hospital
• Experience with adult acute care, adult outpatient, emergency department and trauma imaging
• Skills in radiation safety, contrast media preparation and isolation precautions

• Infant imaging experience
• PACS experience
• Fuji Synapse experience
• Advanced CT procedures including biopsies, drainage, coronary CTA and perfusion studies
