Travel CT Tech in Avon, IN

A Travel CT Tech will perform computed tomography imaging in an acute care hospital in Avon, Indiana on a 13-week contract. The role supports outpatient, inpatient, and emergency department patients, serves adolescents, adults, and geriatrics, uses Cerner and PACS, and welcomes first-time travelers.

• Perform CT imaging exams for outpatient, inpatient, and emergency department patients
• Prepare patients and explain imaging procedures
• Start peripheral IV lines and obtain venipuncture access for contrast studies
• Assist with contrast-enhanced scans, biopsies, drainages, and related guided procedures
• Position patients and obtain quality images for trauma, head, chest, abdomen, spine, and vascular studies
• Work with radiologists and care teams to maintain safe workflow and accurate documentation

• ARRT Radiography certification
• Indiana radiology license
• BLS certification
• 1 year of CT Tech experience
• PACS experience
• Community hospital experience

• ARRT in Computed Tomography and ACLS
• Level I trauma experience
• Neonatal, infant, or pediatric experience
• Cerner charting system experience
