Travel CT Tech in Apple Valley, CA

A Travel CT Tech will perform computed tomography imaging in an acute care hospital in Apple Valley, California on a 13-week contract. The department is very busy, high volume, and fast paced, with mostly ED patients, some outpatients, Epic charting, and first-time travelers welcome.

• Perform CT scans for adult, pediatric, adolescent, and geriatric patients
• Prepare and administer contrast media per protocol
• Assist with trauma, stroke, and emergency department imaging
• Support patient transport when needed
• Work independently in a high-volume, fast-paced department
• Follow radiation safety and isolation precautions

• California CRT and ARRT CT or ARRT R
• BLS certification
• 2 years of CT experience
• Community hospital experience
• CT imaging skills with GE and Toshiba equipment, contrast studies, and vascular CTA

• Aspirations, biopsies, and drainage procedures
• Brain perfusion and coronary CTA
• PACS and Fuji Synapse experience
