Travel CT Tech in Apple Valley, CA

A Travel CT Tech Radiologic Technologist will provide CT imaging in a very busy acute care hospital in Apple Valley, California for an 18-week contract. The department serves mostly ED patients, supports a primary stroke receiving center, and uses Epic. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Perform CT imaging for emergency department and outpatient patients
• Prepare and administer contrast media per protocol
• Position patients and follow radiation safety practices
• Operate GE and Toshiba CT scanners
• Assist with patient transport when needed
• Document studies in Epic
• Work independently in a high-volume department

• 2 years of CT experience in a community hospital
• Current California CRT and CT credentials
• ARRT CT or ARRT radiography certification
• Basic Life Support certification

• PACS and Fuji Synapse experience
• Advanced CT studies including biopsies, drainages, brain perfusion, and coronary CTA
• Vascular chest and heart imaging experience
