Travel Correctional RN in Nashville, TN

A Travel Correctional Registered Nurse will care for incarcerated patients in a hospital in Nashville, Tennessee on a 13-week contract. The locked forensic unit serves an underserved population and uses Cerner charting. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Assess incarcerated patients and update care plans
• Administer medications and monitor treatment responses
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and report changes in condition
• Support dysrhythmia management and escalation of care
• Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team
• Maintain safety and therapeutic communication in a locked unit

• Active Tennessee Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, CPI, and NIH Stroke Scale
• 1 year of nursing experience
• Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Cerner charting system experience

• Chemotherapy administration experience
• Telemetry experience
• Charge nurse experience
