Travel CCU RN in Travelers Rest, SC

A Travel Coronary Care Registered Nurse will provide adult and geriatric care in a long-term acute care hospital on a medical-surgical/telemetry unit for a 13-week contract in Travelers Rest, South Carolina. Epic charting is used, the average daily census is 15, and first-time travelers are welcome.

• Monitor telemetry and report rhythm changes
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and blood products
• Provide tracheostomy, oxygen, and suctioning care
• Manage central lines, PICC lines, and peripheral IVs
• Perform wound, ostomy, catheter, and tube feeding care
• Assess adults and geriatrics with complex chronic conditions
• Coordinate care with therapy, respiratory, pharmacy, and social services

• Active South Carolina Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• 1 year of LTAC medical-surgical, telemetry, and PCU nursing experience
• Epic charting system experience

• Charge nurse experience
• Teaching hospital or community hospital experience
• Mechanical ventilation and ABG interpretation
• IV vasopressor and insulin drip management
