Travel Cath Lab Tech in Salt Lake City, UT

A Travel Cath Lab Tech will assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures in a hospital cath lab in Salt Lake City, Utah on a 13-week contract. The unit has 2 labs, uses EPIC and Merge charting, and handles about 5 to 15 cases per day. Cardiac imaging systems support the work in a fast-paced team setting.

• Scrub and assist with diagnostic angiograms and PCIs
• Support cardiologist-led structural heart procedures
• Assist with IABP and Impella cases
• Prepare procedure rooms, sterile fields, and supplies
• Monitor case flow and help with turnover
• Document care in EPIC and Merge

• RCIS, RT, CVT, or Registered Nurse scrubbing credential
• Diagnostic and interventional cath lab scrubbing experience
• IABP and Impella support experience

• Rota experience
• TAVR experience
• Watchman and MitraClip experience
