Travel Cath Lab Tech in Fredericksburg, VA

A Travel Cath Lab Tech Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist will support cardiac catheterization care in a hospital cath lab on a 13-week contract in Fredericksburg, Virginia. The unit serves adults and geriatrics, uses Epic, and operates in a Level II trauma center with 1:6 ratios; first-time travelers are welcome.

• Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath procedures
• Scrub and maintain a sterile field during invasive cases
• Prepare access sites and support hemodynamic monitoring
• Place EKG leads and recognize life-threatening arrhythmias
• Support PCI, PTCA, IABP, Impella, and closure device cases
• Help with TAVR, Watchman, carotid, peripheral, and PFO or ASD closure procedures

• Active ACLS and BLS certifications
• CCI RCIS credential
• 2 years of cath lab experience
• Experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath procedures
• Skill with sterile scrubbing, access-site prep, and cardiac monitoring

• ASD closure experience
• Temporary pacemaker experience
• TAVR case support
• Epic charting experience
