Travel Cath Lab Tech in Florida

A Travel Cath Lab Technologist will assist with pediatric and structural heart catheterization procedures in a short term acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Tampa, Florida. The unit has 3 rooms, sees adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics, and uses Cerner. The role supports a pediatric congenital caseload.

• Assist with pediatric cardiac catheterization and congenital heart procedures
• Scrub and circulate during interventions while maintaining a sterile field
• Monitor hemodynamic data and EKG lead placement during cases
• Prepare equipment and supplies for structural heart and vascular procedures
• Support left and right heart catheterization, PCI, PTCA, and atherectomy cases
• Document case details in Cerner and coordinate with the care team

• ACLS
• BLS
• 2 years of consecutive direct pediatric cath lab experience
• Prior travel experience
• Strong hemodynamic monitoring, sterile scrub, and EKG lead placement skills

• CCI RCIS
• TAVR, mitral clip, and ASD closure experience
• ECMO and IVC filter placement experience
• Community hospital or Trauma Level I experience
