A Travel Cardiology Registered Nurse will support cardiac rehab and stress lab patients in a hospital setting on a 13-week contract in Marion, North Carolina. The unit uses Cerner and Scottcare, with one-on-one stress testing and a 1:4 rehab ratio.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform stress testing support for exercise, echo, dobutamine, and nuclear studies
- Monitor patients during cardiac rehab exercise sessions
- Observe ECG rhythms and report changes promptly
- Prepare equipment and assist with treadmill-based testing
- Document assessments, responses, and care in the charting system
- Collaborate with the care team to support safe recovery and discharge
Qualifications
- North Carolina Registered Nurse license
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- Cardiology or cardiac rehab experience
- Stress testing and ECG monitoring skills
