Travel Cardiac Cath Lab RN in Columbia, SC

A Travel Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse will support diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures in an acute care hospital for a 13-week contract in Columbia, South Carolina. The unit cares for adults and geriatrics, averages 20 cases across 5 rooms, and uses Epic. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Circulate diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization cases
• Assist with left and right heart catheterizations and EP procedures
• Monitor procedural sedation and hemodynamic status
• Support stent placement and dysrhythmia management
• Prepare cath lab equipment for Impella, balloon pump, Angiojet, and Shock Wave use
• Collaborate with the team during adult cardiac procedures

• Active South Carolina Registered Nurse license or Compact license in hand before start
• BLS and ACLS
• 2 years of cardiac cath lab experience
• Experience with EP lab, diagnostic and interventional catheterizations, and procedural sedation
• Community hospital experience
• Cardiac stent placement, Impella insertion, and dysrhythmia management experience
