Travel Cardiac Cath Lab RN in Carmel, IN

A Travel Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse will provide care in a hospital cath lab in Carmel, Indiana on a 13-week contract. The unit handles a daily census of 5 to 7 and uses Cerner. It serves adolescents, adults, pediatrics and geriatrics.

• Circulate in cardiac and interventional radiology cases
• Support diagnostic and interventional catheterizations
• Monitor hemodynamics, sedation, and rhythm changes
• Assist with vascular access, drains, tubes, and embolization procedures
• Prepare specialized cath lab equipment and supplies
• Respond to emergent cardiac cases and STEMI care
• Document patient care in the charting system

• Indiana Registered Nurse license
• ACLS and BLS certification
• 1 year of cardiac cath lab experience
• Procedural sedation administration and monitoring
• Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab experience

• Cardiac ablation and AICD programming experience
• Pacemaker insertion experience
• IV insertion and maintenance experience
• Cerner charting system experience
