Travel Ambulatory Care RN in Bethel, AK

A Travel Ambulatory Care Registered Nurse will provide outpatient nursing care in Bethel, Alaska on a 13-week contract. The role serves patients from birth to elderly in a clinic setting and uses office and medical equipment.

• Assess patients and plan care using the nursing process
• Implement and evaluate interventions and coordinate with the care team
• Administer treatments and medications and support diagnostic testing
• Document care and provide patient and family education
• Apply age-specific and culturally sensitive care across the lifespan
• Serve as a resource for staff and patients as needed
• Supervise unit secretaries and patient care technicians with the charge nurse

• Completion of an NLN-approved nursing program
• Active Alaska Registered Professional Nurse license
• Current BLS
• 2 years of registered nursing experience
• Proficient oral and written communication skills
• Basic EKG skills

• Health care setting experience as a Registered Nurse
