About this job
A Per Diem NICU Registered Nurse will provide specialized care for newborns and infants in an acute care hospital in Edmonds, Washington. The unit supports 1:2 patient ratios.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor neonatal status and respond to changes in condition
- Administer medications and IV therapies as ordered
- Coordinate care with the neonatal team and family members
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses
- Support admissions, transfers, and discharges for newborns and infants
- Maintain safe, developmentally appropriate nursing care
Qualifications
- 2 years of NICU experience
- Active Washington Registered Nurse license
- AHA BLS certification
- NRP certification
- Experience with 1:2 patient ratios
