About this job
A Per Diem Medical Surgical Registered Nurse will provide direct patient care in an acute care hospital in Walla Walla, Washington. EPIC charting is used for bedside documentation in the medical surgical setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patient status and monitor changes
- Administer medications and ordered treatments
- Coordinate care with physicians and nursing staff
- Document assessments, interventions, and responses in EPIC
- Support patient education and discharge planning
- Prioritize care for adult medical surgical patients
Qualifications
- Washington Registered Nurse license
- One year of medical surgical nursing experience
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Recent EPIC experience
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
