Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) for contract and temporary assignments at leading healthcare facilities nationwide. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients in critical condition. As an ICU RN, you will be responsible for managing complex patient needs, administering treatments, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and assess critically ill patients, recognizing and responding to changes in patient conditions promptly.
- Administer medications, treatments, and life support as required.
- Utilize advanced medical equipment and technology to monitor and treat patients.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans based on patient assessments.
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients' families regarding medical conditions and treatments.
- Document patient care and treatment plans accurately and promptly in electronic health records (EHR).
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Participate in continuous education and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in .
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU or critical care setting.
- Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification is a plus.
