Travel X-Ray Tech in Lubbock, TX

A Travel X-Ray Tech Radiologic Technologist will perform diagnostic imaging and assist with fluoroscopy in a short term acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Lubbock, Texas. The unit serves adults and geriatrics, uses Epic, and may image up to 30 patients per day. The role supports a Level II trauma center.

• Perform routine and complex X-ray exams
• Assist with fluoroscopy procedures
• Complete bedside and portable imaging as needed
• Support adult, geriatric, emergency, and trauma imaging needs
• Follow radiation safety and infection prevention practices
• Communicate clearly with patients and the care team

• ARRT R certification
• Texas Radiologic Technologist license
• BLS certification
• 1 year of X-Ray Tech experience
• Epic charting system experience

• Experience with contrast media preparation and administration
• Experience with trauma imaging
• LTAC experience
• Additional imaging studies including skull, sinuses, orbits, and soft tissue neck
