Travel X-Ray Tech in Eureka, CA

A Travel X-Ray Tech Radiologic Technologist will provide diagnostic imaging support in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Eureka, California. The unit has 3 rooms and serves neonates, infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Epic charting is used, and first-time travelers are welcome.

• Perform general diagnostic radiography for inpatient, emergency, and operating room patients
• Assist with fluoroscopy, portable imaging, and contrast studies
• Position patients and obtain quality images across age groups
• Prepare equipment and contrast materials for studies
• Follow radiation safety and infection control practices
• Document exams and support workflow in Epic

• California radiologic technologist license
• ARRT R certification
• BLS certification
• 1 year of x-ray technology experience
• Acute care community hospital experience
• Epic charting system experience

• Trauma Level I experience
• Peripheral IV starts
• Barium enema techniques
• GE, Toshiba, or Fuji Synapse experience
