Travel Trauma ICU RN in Pomona, CA

A Travel Trauma ICU Registered Nurse will provide critical care for trauma-surgical patients in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Pomona, California. First-time travelers are welcome; the unit serves adolescents, adults and geriatrics with Cerner charting and free parking. It is a Magnet, teaching, Level II trauma center with 12 rooms.

• Assess and monitor trauma-surgical ICU patients
• Assist with ventilated patient care and airway support
• Manage continuous IV sedation and neurologic monitoring
• Support ICP monitoring, EVD care and CRRT
• Coordinate massive transfusion and complex wound care
• Collaborate with therapy, respiratory and rapid response teams
• Document care and changes in Cerner

• California Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS and NIHSS
• 2 years of trauma ICU experience
• Care of ventilated patients, continuous IV sedation, ICP monitoring and procedural sedation monitoring

• TNCC
• Level II trauma experience
• Level I trauma experience
