Travel Telemetry RN in Tallahassee, FL

A Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide bedside nursing care on a 33-bed med/tele unit in an acute care hospital in Tallahassee, Florida on a 13-week contract. The unit uses Meditech, remote telemetry, and a 1:6 patient ratio. Inpatient chemotherapy support and a patient-first approach are important on this unit.

• Monitor telemetry and assess patient status
• Administer medications and ordered treatments
• Support inpatient chemotherapy care with the nursing team
• Coordinate care with the charge nurse, CNAs, and other team members
• Perform routine rounding and respond to changes in condition
• Document care in the electronic record and maintain patient safety

• Current Florida Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Strong assessment, communication, and time management skills

• Med Surg specialty certification
• Palliative Care certification
• ONS certification
