Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist in Muskogee, OK

A Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist will provide cardiopulmonary care in a long-term acute care hospital on a 13 week contract in Muskogee, Oklahoma. The role supports inpatients and outpatients with airway support, ventilator care, and diagnostic testing.

• Follow respiratory care protocols and department procedures
• Assist physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures
• Deliver medicated aerosols and other breathing treatments
• Maintain airways and support ventilator management
• Perform arterial line insertion support, intubations, and blood gas collection
• Assist with pulmonary function studies and cardiac and pulmonary stress testing

• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist or Certified Respiratory Therapist credential
• Current Oklahoma Respiratory Therapist license
• BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association
• 2 years recent experience with ventilator care, ventilator weaning, tracheostomy, ET tube, CPAP, BiPAP, and nebulizer treatment
