Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist in Mount Vernon, OH

A Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist will provide respiratory care in an acute care hospital on a 13 week contract in Mount Vernon, Ohio. The unit serves adult critical care and emergency department patients, with airway support, ventilator management, BiPAP and CPAP care, and bronchoscopy assistance.

• Assess respiratory status and deliver ordered therapies
• Manage ventilators, BiPAP, and CPAP support
• Obtain and interpret ABGs
• Assist with bronchoscopy and airway procedures
• Support adult critical care and emergency department patients

• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist credential and Ohio license to practice
• Basic Life Support and Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification
• 2 years of respiratory care experience
• Adult critical care, emergency department, airway management, bronchoscopy assisting, ventilator management, BiPAP and CPAP management, and ABG sampling and interpretation skills

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification
