Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist in Asheville, NC

A Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist will provide respiratory care in a hospital unit on a 13-week contract in Asheville, North Carolina. The unit serves adult and NICU or pediatric service lines with patient ratios of 10:25 and uses Cerner. The hospital is a Magnet hospital and a Level II trauma center with a comprehensive stroke center.

• Assess patients and deliver ordered respiratory therapies
• Manage invasive and noninvasive ventilation support
• Set up and monitor adult, infant and pediatric ventilators
• Administer high-flow oxygen and aerosolized treatments
• Assist with airway management and emergency respiratory response
• Collaborate with the care team on respiratory plans

• North Carolina Respiratory Therapist license
• Registered Respiratory Therapist credential
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications
