Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist in Asheville, NC

A Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist will provide respiratory care in a hospital respiratory services unit in Asheville, North Carolina on a 13-week contract. The unit serves adult and NICU/pediatric service lines, uses Cerner, and manages patient ratios of 10 to 25.

• Assess patients and support respiratory care plans
• Manage ventilators and noninvasive respiratory support
• Deliver oxygen therapy and inhaled treatments
• Assist with transport ventilation for critical care patients
• Monitor patient response and update the care team
• Document care in the electronic medical record

• North Carolina Respiratory Care license
• Registered Respiratory Therapist credential
• BLS, ACLS and PALS
• Graduation from an accredited respiratory therapy program
• Core adult, pediatric and neonatal respiratory care skills
