Travel Radiology RN in Torrance, CA

A Travel Radiology Registered Nurse will support radiology patients in an acute care hospital in Torrance, California on a 13-week contract. Cerner is used, and the unit serves adolescents, adults, pediatrics and geriatrics. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Support radiology patients during diagnostic and interventional care
• Start and maintain IV access and manage ports and PICC lines
• Monitor conscious sedation and end-tidal CO2
• Prepare patients and maintain radiation safety practices
• Assist with medication administration and rhythm monitoring
• Document care in Cerner and coordinate with the radiology team

• Active California Registered Nurse license
• 1 year of radiology experience
• ACLS, BLS and PALS
• Critical care experience in ICU or ER
• Strong IV placement skills
• Conscious sedation and end-tidal CO2 monitoring experience

• Paracentesis and thoracentesis experience
• Community hospital experience
• Cerner charting system experience
