Travel Radiology RN in Austin, TX

A Travel Radiology Registered Nurse will support diagnostic imaging and surgical cases in a hospital in Austin, Texas on a 13-week contract. The unit serves surgical, recovery, inpatient and outpatient patients and uses portable x-ray, fluoroscopy and PACS.

• Assist with intraoperative and bedside imaging for surgical cases
• Prepare patients and equipment for radiology procedures
• Monitor patient status during imaging and recovery support
• Operate or assist with C-arm, portable x-ray and fluoroscopy systems
• Coordinate with surgeons, radiologists and nursing staff
• Follow radiation safety and patient care standards
• Document care and imaging-related observations

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• Texas Medical Board medical radiologic technologist certification and ARRT certification in Radiology
• Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support
• Surgical imaging support experience
• C-arm proficiency
