Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Zanesville, OH

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide care for cardiac step-down and post-op open-heart patients in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Zanesville, Ohio. The unit uses Epic EMR and may occasionally care for ventilated patients when needed. A Level 3 trauma setting supports a mix of cardiac and med-surg step-down needs.

• Monitor cardiac step-down patients
• Provide care for heart cath recovery cases
• Manage cardiac drip therapy
• Support post-op open-heart recovery
• Assess ventilated patients when needed
• Document care in Epic EMR

• Active Ohio Registered Nurse license
• Current BLS and ACLS certification
• Minimum 3 years of cardiac step-down experience
• Heart cath recovery, cardiac drips, and post-op open-heart experience
• Epic EMR experience
• Strong acute care assessment skills
