Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Asheville, NC

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide bedside care for cardiac step-down patients in a hospital unit on a 13-week contract in Asheville, North Carolina. The unit uses telemetry and Cerner and cares for patients with CHF, MI, arrhythmia, and post cardiac procedure needs.

• Monitor cardiac rhythms and patient status
• Administer and titrate cardiac IV medications
• Provide care for step-down and progressive care patients
• Support patients after cardiac catheterization and device procedures
• Assist with bedside cardioversion
• Coordinate care with the charge nurse and team

• Active North Carolina Registered Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS
• Step-down or progressive care experience
• Telemetry experience
• Experience with titratable or cardiac IV medications

• Prostacyclin experience
• Relief charge experience
