Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Asheville, NC

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for progressive care patients in a hospital unit on a 13-week contract in Asheville, North Carolina. The 44-bed unit uses Cerner, works with a 4:1 ratio that can stretch to 5:1, and serves trauma and neuro patients.

• Monitor progressive care patients and respond to changing conditions
• Perform neuro and spinal checks and report changes promptly
• Assist with chest tubes, PCA pumps, IV infusions, drains, feeding tubes, and transfusions
• Manage C-collars and TLSO braces as ordered
• Coordinate with charge staff and support safe patient flow
• Document assessments and interventions

• Current North Carolina Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Experience in neuro and trauma care
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
