Travel Polysomnographer in Santa Rosa, CA

A Travel Polysomnographer Registered Polysomnographic Technologist will perform overnight sleep studies and diagnostic monitoring in a hospital sleep lab in Santa Rosa, California for 13 weeks. The unit serves adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics, with 1:2 adult and 1:1 pediatric ratios. Epic charting and sleep lab software support a six-room setting with CPAP equipment.

• Conduct sleep studies and diagnostic monitoring for adult and pediatric patients
• Place sensors and leads for EEG, ECG, respiratory events, and oxygen tracking
• Assist with CPAP, BiPAP, ASV, and other positive airway pressure setups
• Score polysomnograms and identify sleep stages, arousals, and breathing abnormalities
• Observe patients for cardiac abnormalities, seizure activity, and respiratory patterns
• Educate patients and families on sleep study procedures and equipment use

• California Respiratory Care Practitioners License
• BLS certification
• Registered Polysomnographic Technologist credential or Registered Respiratory Therapist credential with SDS
• 1 year of polysomnography experience
• Adult and pediatric sleep study experience
• Epic charting experience

• Alice sleep software familiarity
• ResMed equipment familiarity
• Independent sleep lab experience
