Travel Polysomnographer in Canton, GA

A Travel Polysomnographic Technologist will perform sleep disorder testing as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Canton, Georgia. The role prepares adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients and equipment for polysomnography. Work centers on sleep activity, arousals, movement abnormalities, and respirations.

• Prepare patients and equipment for sleep studies
• Monitor polysomnograms during testing
• Document study findings per policy
• Observe sleep activity, arousals, movement abnormalities, and respirations
• Assist with testing for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• Communicate findings clearly with the care team

• Current Basic Life Support certification
• Current unrestricted Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists registration as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist
• 2 years of experience within the specialty
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Sleep study monitoring skills
