Travel Phlebotomist in Pomona, CA

A Travel Phlebotomist Certified Phlebotomy Technician I will collect specimens in the clinical laboratory at an acute care hospital in Pomona, California for a 13-week contract. It serves patients from neonate through older adult and supports general laboratory collection and testing workflows.

• Collect venous and capillary specimens across age groups
• Perform ABG collection and point of care testing
• Prioritize stat, timed, and routine collection requests
• Provide patient positioning and post-venipuncture site care
• Use aseptic technique during specimen collection and handling
• Label and process specimens according to laboratory workflow

• California CPT I certification
• 1 year of acute care hospital experience
• Experience with any charting system
• Phlebotomy skills in venipuncture, finger sticks, ABG collection, and aseptic technique

• BLS
