Travel Phlebotomist in Olympia, WA

A Travel Laboratory Phlebotomist will collect specimens and support daily lab workflow in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Olympia, Washington.

The unit serves neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics, and uses EPIC charting.

First-time travelers are welcome.

• Collect blood specimens using venipuncture and capillary techniques
• Perform finger sticks and heel sticks across age groups
• Use syringe and vacutainer methods for specimen collection
• Provide post-venipuncture site care and monitor collection sites
• Label, verify, and transport specimens for laboratory processing
• Support inpatient and outpatient lab workflow and documentation in EPIC

• Washington phlebotomy credential in hand
• BLS certification
• 1 year of phlebotomy experience
• Hospital and outpatient lab experience
• Finger stick, heel stick, and post-venipuncture site care skills
• Syringe, vacutainer, and handheld collection device experience
