Travel Pharmacist in Denver, CO

A Travel Pharmacist will verify medication orders and support inpatient pharmacy care for adult patients in an acute care hospital in Denver, Colorado on a 13-week contract. The department has 80 staff and uses Meditech and Dose Edge, with adult and pediatric night shift pharmacists dividing the workload evenly.

• Verify medication orders and screen for safety issues
• Provide clinical consultation to the care team
• Review labs and support medication therapy decisions
• Assist with antimicrobial stewardship activities
• Use electronic charting and medication safety systems
• Support adult inpatient pharmacy workflows

• Minimum 6 months of current inpatient pharmacist experience
• Adult patient inpatient pharmacist experience
• Colorado Pharmacist license
• Pharmacy degree from an accredited program

• Residency or board certification
• Meditech experience
• BLS
