Travel Pediatrics RN in Asheville, NC

A Travel Pediatric Registered Nurse will provide inpatient care in a pediatric and oncology hospital unit in Asheville, North Carolina on a 16-week contract. The unit has 19 beds, uses Cerner, and maintains patient ratios of 1:3 to 1:5.

• Assess pediatric and oncology patients and respond to changes in condition
• Administer medications and support infusion therapy per plan of care
• Monitor vital signs, labs, and treatment tolerance
• Collaborate with physicians, oncology staff, and respiratory therapy
• Educate families on care plans and discharge needs
• Document care accurately in Cerner

• North Carolina Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• PALS certification
• APHON certification
• Hospital pediatric experience
• Pediatric oncology experience
