Travel Pediatrics PACU RN in Petaluma, CA

A Travel Pediatric PACU Registered Nurse will provide post-anesthesia recovery care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Petaluma, California. The unit serves adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics, with an average daily census of 15 and Epic charting.

• Monitor patients through Phase I and Phase II recovery
• Assess airway status, vital signs, pain, and sedation level
• Administer ordered medications and IV therapies
• Support procedural sedation and recovery from anesthesia
• Prepare patients for discharge with education and instructions
• Coordinate postoperative care with anesthesia and surgical teams

• California Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS
• 1 year of PACU experience
• Epic charting system experience

• ICU or ED experience
• Arterial line management
• Vascular access experience
• Pre-op and post-op recovery experience
