Travel Pediatrics OR RN in Orange, CA

A Travel Pediatric Operating Room Registered Nurse will provide perioperative care for pediatric patients in a children's hospital on a 13-week contract in Orange, California. The unit serves inpatient and outpatient children from infancy through young adulthood, with rare adult cases, and uses Cerner.

• Prepare rooms and support pediatric operative care
• Assist with minor surgical cases across general surgery, ENT, plastics, ophthalmology, urology, dentistry, oncology, GI, pulmonary, and endoscopy
• Start peripheral IVs and support blood product administration
• Maintain sterile technique, safety, and infection control practices
• Document care in Cerner and handle specimens accurately
• Assist with code response and perioperative patient monitoring

• California Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS
• 2 years of pediatric operating room, acute, or outpatient experience with majority of listed specialties
• General surgery operating room experience
• Cerner charting system experience
• Prior travel experience

• Ambulatory OR experience
• Trauma Level I experience
