Travel OR RN in Augusta, GA

A Travel Trauma Registered Nurse will lead trauma care in the emergency room during primary and secondary surveys for a 13-week contract in Augusta, Georgia. The unit has 2 trauma bays, uses Meditech, and supports high-acuity emergency care with rapid critical decision-making.

• Assess trauma patients during initial and secondary surveys
• Start and maintain IV access
• Assist with mass transfusion and rapid infuser use
• Support emergency bedside procedures, including chest tube, central line, and arterial line placement
• Stabilize spinal injuries and splint fractures
• Collaborate with the trauma team during critical interventions and operative support when needed

• Georgia Registered Nurse license
• Current TNCC, ACLS, BLS, and PALS
• ED/Trauma experience
• Strong IV skills
• Ability to work in high-stress emergency settings
