Travel OR Circulate RN in Fortuna, CA

A Travel Operating Room Circulating Registered Nurse will circulate and recover in a surgery unit at a critical access hospital in Fortuna, California for a 26-week contract. The unit has 3 rooms, uses Epic, and serves adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.

• Circulate operating room cases for general surgery and endoscopy
• Recover surgical patients in the post-anesthesia setting
• Prepare rooms and support safe turnover between procedures
• Assist with ambulatory, orthopedic, gastrointestinal, and ENT cases
• Monitor patients and respond to changes during procedures and recovery
• Maintain sterile technique, electrosurgical safety, and code response readiness

• California Registered Nurse license
• 1 year of operating room experience
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
• Ambulatory operating room and PACU/recovery experience
• Endoscopy experience

• Pediatric general operating room experience
• Video-assisted thoracic surgery experience
• Epic charting system experience
