Travel Occupational Therapist in Anchorage, AK

A Travel Occupational Therapist will provide inpatient acute care therapy in a hospital setting during a 13-week contract in Anchorage, Alaska. The unit serves adults and geriatrics in a magnet level II trauma hospital and uses Epic.

• Assess functional status and daily living needs
• Develop individualized occupational therapy plans
• Provide treatment for neurologic and orthopedic conditions
• Support rehabilitation after stroke, fractures, joint replacement, and brain injury
• Educate patients and families on safety and discharge needs
• Document evaluations, interventions, and progress in Epic

• Active Alaska Occupational Therapist license
• NBCOT certification
• BLS certification
• 1 year of acute care occupational therapy experience
• Acute care assessment, evaluation, and discharge planning skills
• Patient and family education, safety, and injury prevention skills

• Adult rehabilitation experience
• SNF or LTAC experience
• Amputee, arthritis, or spinal cord injury care
• Functional or static splinting experience
