Travel OB Tech in Seattle, WA

A Travel OB Tech Certified OB Tech will support labor and delivery scrub needs in a hospital in Seattle, Washington on a 13-week contract. The unit serves adults and focuses on obstetric and gynecologic procedures.

• Prepare the sterile field and procedure supplies for labor and delivery cases
• Assist during cesarean births and vaginal deliveries
• Support obstetric and gynecologic procedures such as D&C, cerclage and hysterectomy
• Maintain aseptic technique, sharps safety and fire safety practices
• Handle instruments, specimens and labeling according to policy
• Support instrument processing, decontamination and sterilization workflows
• Perform wound care and dressing changes as directed

• BLS
• NBSTSA or NCCT certification
• 5 years of labor and delivery experience
• Knowledge of decontamination, sterilization and instrument processing
• Aseptic technique and universal protocol experience

• General OR experience
