Travel OB/GYN RN in Lander, WY

A Travel OB/GYN Registered Nurse will provide obstetric and gynecologic care in a hospital unit on a 13-week contract in Lander, Wyoming. The unit serves antepartum, labor and delivery, postpartum, and level 1 nursery patients, with surgical recovery and newborn assessment needs.

• Assess maternal and newborn status and respond to changes in condition
• Administer medications, perform treatments, and carry out ordered interventions
• Circulate for cesarean births and assist the physician during deliveries
• Monitor recovery needs for obstetric surgical patients
• Support care for antepartum, labor, postpartum, and nursery patients
• Educate patients and families on care needs and recovery
• Document findings and communicate clearly with the care team

• Current Wyoming Registered Nurse license or compact license
• American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications
• NRP, STABLE, and AWHONN certifications
• 2 years recent RN Level 1 Nursery, Postpartum, OB/GYN, and L&D/LDRP experience
• Strong assessment, communication, and patient education skills
