Travel NICU RN in Seattle, WA

A Travel Neonatal Intensive Care Registered Nurse will provide intensive care for critically ill newborns in a hospital NICU on a 13-week contract in Seattle, Washington. The unit serves neonates and infants at Level III and Level IV acuity, has 77 beds with an average census of 50, and uses Epic.

• Provide bedside care for critically ill neonates and infants
• Monitor respiratory status and support CPAP, BiPAP, high frequency ventilation and standard ventilators
• Administer blood products, medications and thermoregulation support
• Assist with high-risk deliveries and neonatal surgery care
• Manage central lines, feeding tubes and syringe pumps
• Calculate neonatal doses and document care in Epic

• Washington Registered Nurse license or active compact license
• BLS and NRP
• 3 years of Level III NICU experience or 2 years of Level IV NICU experience
• Neonatal dosage calculations and ventilator management skills
• Central line, feeding tube and blood product care

• Epic charting experience
