A Travel Neurology Registered Nurse will care for neurological patients in a hospital unit in Hartford, Connecticut on a 26-week contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform neurological assessments and report changes promptly
- Monitor vital signs, neuro status and patient responses to treatment
- Administer medications and support ordered therapies
- Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary team members
- Educate patients and families on condition management and discharge needs
- Document care accurately and maintain safe patient care
Qualifications
- Current Connecticut Registered Nurse license
- BLS and ACLS
- NIHSS
- Neurological assessment and critical thinking skills
- Safe medication administration skills
Preferred Skills
- Trauma Nursing Core Course certification
