Travel MRI Tech in Napa, CA

A Travel MRI Tech Radiologic Technologist will perform MRI imaging in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Napa, California. The unit serves adults and geriatrics and uses GE 1.5 Signa and GE 1.5 Optima systems.

• Perform MRI exams for adult and geriatric patients
• Prepare patients and review imaging needs before scans
• Start peripheral IV access and prepare contrast media
• Operate GE 1.5 MRI equipment for routine imaging
• Reconstruct and send images through PACS
• Support brain, spine, abdomen, breast and musculoskeletal studies

• California Radiologic Technologist license
• ARRT in Radiography and MRI credentials
• BLS certification
• 2 years of MRI experience
• Experience with PACS, contrast media and peripheral IV starts
• Experience with adult acute care and outpatient MRI studies

• California IV certification
• Adolescent MRI experience
• ER/trauma and chest MRI experience
• GE MRI system and community hospital experience
