Travel Medical Lab Tech in Coos Bay, OR

A Travel Medical Lab Technician will assist with laboratory testing in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Coos Bay, Oregon. Automated analyzers, LIS and HIS systems, microscopes, and pneumatic transport support routine specimen processing and reporting.

• Process and analyze specimens across laboratory workflows
• Operate automated analyzers, centrifuges, pipettors, microscopes, and pneumatic transport systems
• Monitor quality control and troubleshoot testing issues
• Enter and verify results in LIS and HIS systems
• Communicate critical findings and support specimen handling and reporting

• Active Oregon state medical laboratory technician license
• BLS certification
• Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory Science
• Less than 1 year of medical laboratory experience
• Working knowledge of LIS and HIS computer systems
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
